Ethos y performatividad del género en la construcción de la identidad verbal. Análisis del discurso de la artista y activista Susy Shock

dc.description.abstractEl discurso de la artista y activista Susy Shock precisa un análisis que se centre en las formas de enunciación y que se vincule directamente con develar el rol performativo de discursos heteronormativos que regulan las identidades de género. Por tanto, el presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar las representaciones del género en la construcción discursiva de sí misma por parte de Susy Shock. Para lograr el objetivo de este estudio se eligieron tres textos: la entrevista que le hicieron en el programa televisivo Después vemos (2017), el Poemario Transpirado (2011) y su libro Crianzas (2016). La metodología comprendió la lectura y posterior análisis a través de las categorías encontradas; luego, se identificaron los modos de enunciación de acuerdo a las teorizaciones de Ruth Amossy y Dominique Maingueneau con respecto al ethos; asimismo, se relacionaron con la teoría sobre performatividad del género de Judith Butler; y, finalmente, se interpretaron los resultados. Estos últimos indican que los ethè en el discurso de Shock están sujetos a imaginarios sociales y disputan ciertos discursos de poder. Se encuentra una clara dimensión ideológica presente: el nomadismo, el artivismo y la contrahegemonía. Shock propone nuevas líneas de acción, se desidentifica de categorías naturalizadas, crea nuevas ficciones y resignifica el lenguaje de odio. Se concluye que abordar la identidad verbal y los aspectos claves de la performatividad de género permitieron evidenciar cómo Shock desestabiliza estructuras que sostienen los discursos de poder y expande las fronteras de género que se han delimitado.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe discourse of the artist and activist Susy Shock requires an analysis that focuses on the forms of enunciation and that is directly linked to unveiling the performative role of heteronormative discourses that regulate gender identities. Therefore, this research paper aims to analyze the representations of gender in the discursive construction of itself by Susy Shock. To achieve the objective of this study, three texts were chosen: the interview they did in the television program Después vemos (2017), the Poemario Transpirado (2011) and his book Crianzas (2016). The methodology included reading and subsequent analysis through the categories found; then, the modes of enunciation were identified according to the theories of Ruth Amossy and Dominique Maingueneau with respect to ethos; they were also related to Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity; and, finally, the results were interpreted. The latter indicate that the ethè in Shock’s speech are subject to social imaginaries and dispute certain discourses of power. A clear ideological dimension is present: nomadism, artivism and counter-hegemony. Shock proposes new lines of action, de-identifies itself from naturalized categories, creates new fictions and resignifies hate speech. It is concluded that addressing verbal identity and the key aspects of gender performativity allowed to show how Shock destabilizes structures that support the discourses of power and expands the gender boundaries that have been delineated.
