dc.description.abstractEn el presente trabajo se diseña la estrategia a seguir para implementar los pilares del mantenimiento productivo total en una empresa del sector cerámico. Entender la forma como el mantenimiento productivo se relaciona e interactúa con los procesos en la empresa, ayuda a maximizar las habilidades y recursos que se encuentran al interior de la organización, fundamentales para el crecimiento del negocio. Inicialmente el plan está diseñado para desarrollarse en las líneas de producción y luego aplicarse a toda la compañía incluyendo las áreas administrativas. Se ha estudiado los pilares fundamentales del mantenimiento productivo total, se han identificado las características del área piloto donde se inicia el plan de implementación. Se elaboró el plan en el área piloto y el programa para capacitar a todo el personal de la compañía. Se establecen los indicadores para la eficiencia global de producción (EGP). El punto de partida del TPM, es medir la efectividad real de los equipos, es necesario clasificar las pérdidas y mantener los registros que se han creado para efectuar un seguimiento al comportamiento de éstas. El plan de implementación se ha dividido en cuatro fases y diez etapas, en las cuales se han establecido los pilares que conduzcan a reducir las principales pérdidas de efectividad en los equipos, siendo principalmente el pilar de mejora enfocada, mantenimiento autónomo, mantenimiento planificado, educación y formación. La elaboración del plan de capacitación para todo el personal de la compañía, está orientado a la alta productividad basado en la formación para el mejoramiento de las capacidades transfiriendo conocimientos técnicos y el desarrollo de competencias.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe intention of this project is to establish the strategy to implement the foundations for the total productive maintenance in a ceramic business. It is of paramount importance for the growth of such business to understand the way in which the production plan is blended with the decision making of that business. This way one can maximise the capabilities and resources within the walls of that business. Initially, this plan is going to be implemented to develop the productive lines and then it will be extended to the whole structure of the business, including management. The team has studied the sound foundations of the total productive maintenance set up; the characteristics of the pilot area have been identified. The pilot scheme plan was identified as well as the programme to equip the total workforce. The indicators for the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) were established. The starting point of the TPM is to measure the real effectiveness of the equipments, it is necessary to classify the losses and maintaining the documents that have been created to carry out a control and following to the operation of the equipments. The implementation plan has been divided into 4 phases and 10 stages, in which the foundations to reduce the real losses in the equipments; concentrating on autonomous maintenance; planned maintenance and personnel education and training. The plan to train the workforce has been directed to a much higher productivity based on such training, in order to improve the skills, sharing technical knowledge and the development of duties.
