dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio se propone examinar el problema de la empatía dentro de los estudios fenomenológicos de Edmund Husserl y Edith Stein en contraposición a las teorías que dan cuenta de la realidad ajena en sentido psicológico de finales de siglo XIX y principios del XX mediante el concepto de Einfühlung representados por los psicólogos Robert Vischer y Theodor Lipps hasta llegar a una reinterpretación fenomenológica. Asimismo, analizar fenomenológicamente sus pretensiones, sus postulados y el estatus ontológico-social del conocimiento del otro mediante la relación intersubjetiva. Inicialmente, se procura hacer una exposición sobre los antecedentes teóricos del concepto de empatía en la Retórica y Poética de Aristóteles especialmente en sus concepto de mímesis y compasión, pasando siglos después a la reinterpretación del estagirita en la filosofía moral del siglo XVIII con la noción de simpatía en David Hume y Adam Smith, hasta llegar a la época del psicologismo en donde se gesta los estudios de la empatía por medio del concepto Einfühlung. Por esta razón, se hace necesario reconstruir críticamente la discusión sobre el problema del otro a nivel fenomenológico, desde la manera como inició en la antigüedad y como, desde entonces, ha suscitado críticas sobre el modo en cómo se ha contemplado desde sus pesquisas psicologistas. Para ello, el texto se centra en las críticas de Husserl y Edith Stein dado que consideran que tales interpretaciones de las teorías del pasado son naturalistas y cosifican la conciencia y el otro.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present study aims to examine the problem of empathy within the phenomenological studies of Edmund Husserl and Edith Stein as opposed to the theories that account for the reality of the other in the psychological sense of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries through the concept of Einfühlung represented by the psychologists Robert Vischer and Theodor Lipps until reaching a phenomenological reinterpretation. Likewise, to analyze phenomenologically its pretensions, its postulates and the ontological-social status of the knowledge of the other through the intersubjective relation. Initially, an exposition of the theoretical background of the concept of empathy in Aristotle's Rhetoric and Poetics, especially in his concepts of mímesis and compassion, passing centuries later to the reinterpretation of the Stagirite in the moral philosophy of the eighteenth century with the notion of sympathy in David Hume and Adam Smith, until reaching the era of psychologism where the studies of empathy through the concept of Einfühlung are gestated. For this reason, it is necessary to critically reconstruct the discussion on the problem of the other at the phenomenological level, from the way it began in antiquity and how, since then, it has raised criticism on the way it has been contemplated from its psychologistic researches. To this end, the text focuses on the criticisms of Husserl and Edith Stein since they consider that such interpretations of the theories of the past are naturalistic and reify consciousness and the other.
