dc.description.abstractHistóricamente, en la cultura occidental, la culinaria ha estado asociada con lo femenino y el sentido del gusto. Este arte se había relegado desde la antigüedad frente a otras artes que se consideraron más relevantes. No obstante, hoy en día se ha exaltado su carácter espiritual y creativo, sobre todo en los círculos de la alta cocina, en los cuales el chef se establece como un artista. Este artículo de reflexión examina la culinaria doméstica en cuanto a un arte menor, en función de lo planteado por Deleuze y Guattari (1978) en Kafka: Por una literatura menor. Desde esta perspectiva, se examinan los tres aspectos esenciales de la obra: el carácter político, la desterritorialización y el valor colectivo, que al analizarse a profundidad posicionan esta actividad como artística y como agente de transformación para las mujeres que la ejercen cotidianamente. Resignificando esta labor, también exaltando su valor sociocultural siendo una práctica que cuestiona los sistemas estructurales dominantes en la alimentación y proporciona un modo de expresión frecuentemente infravalorado en la sociedad.
dc.description.abstractenglishHistorically, in Western culture, cooking has been associated with the feminine and with the sense of taste. This art was relegated to ancient times in comparison with other arts that were considered more important. However, today its spiritual and creative nature has been highlighted, especially in haute cuisine circles, where the chef is regarded as an artist. This article examines domestic cooking as a minor art, based on the concepts put forward by Deleuze and Guattari (1978) in Kafka: Toward a Minor Literature. In this context, three essential aspects of the work are examined: politicization, deterritorialization, and collective value, which position this art as an agent of artistic transformation for women. This, the sociocultural value of a practice is redefined—one that challenges dominant structural systems and provides a mode of expression often ignored in society.
