dc.description.abstractProymelec Ingeniería S.A.S, es una empresa constituida en 2009 con sede principal en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, cuya actividad comercial principal es la oferta de servicios especializados desde el amplio campo de la ingeniería aplicada a proyectos planificados y ejecutados por el sector privado y público del país. Si bien es cierto, posee el talento humano idóneo y un músculo financiero capaz de proveer servicios eficientes, eficaces y efectivos a sus clientes, ha presentado falencias en la administración y operación de sus procesos logísticos de almacenamiento y gestión de inventarios que le acarrean pérdidas económicas que podrían, de no intervenirse, generar problemas que afectarían su ejercicio comercial. Por tanto, el presente documento evidencia la práctica empresarial que arrojó los resultados esperados en dicha área, en coherencia con el objetivo que se persiguió, a través de la realización de un diagnóstico en los procesos logísticos pertinentes, la formulación de un plan de mejoramiento, la ejecución de las propuestas aprobadas y el diseño de un sistema de indicadores para el respectivo seguimiento al plan de mejoramiento. Una vez, presentados los respectivos resultados a la gerencia de la compañía, se exponen determinadas recomendaciones a partir de las conclusiones obtenidas del plan de mejora implementado. _________________
dc.description.abstractenglishProymelec Ingeniería S.A.S, is a company who was established in 2009 with its principal headquarters in the city of Bucaramanga, whose main commercial activity is the offer of specialized services from the wide field of engineering applied to projects planned and executed by the private and public sector of the country. Although it is true, it has the appropriate human talent and a financial muscle capable of providing efficient, efficacious and effective services to its clients, it has presented shortcomings in the administration and operation of its logistics processes of storage and inventory management that lead to economic losses that could, if they are not intervened, generate problems that would affect their business. Therefore, the present document evidences the business practice that yielded the expected results in said area, in coherence with the objective that was pursued, through the realization of a diagnosis in the pertinent logistic processes, the formulation of an improvement plan, the execution of the approved proposals and the design of a system of indicators for the respective monitoring of the improvement plan. Once the respective results have been presented to the company's management, certain recommendations are presented based on the conclusions obtained from the improvement plan implemented. ___________________
