dc.description.abstractEl presente artículo es una investigación intercultural, que se crea de la mano con la filosofía de la liberación que impulsa Enrique Dussel, para abordar el problema que será denominado supresión cultural, delimitado espacio-temporalmente en Abya Yala, desde el año 1492, donde su conocimiento milenario y cosmovisión ancestral comienzan a sufrir la llegada de la cultura eurocéntrica que proporcionó los fundamentos argumentativos necesarios para replantear los límites, la metodología y el conocimiento de la temática. Así mismo, se hizo imperativo incorporar en los estudios la dialéctica modernidad/colonialidad, y el conocimiento ancestral que se guarda en lo profundo de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, para hallar, finalmente, la filiación filosófica, política y social, que le dieron sentido a la labor investigativa, articulando la academia con el contexto social y el entorno cultural vulnerado. Todos los estudios y los análisis que se presentan en este artículo, se han transformado en talleres que se enseñan y se discuten en distintos espacios urbanos e institucionales, a través de la revista Golem Estudiantes de filosofía, con el fin de incentivar la investigación sobre la Supresión cultural, la idea de centro y periferia, y la Desobediencia epistémica aplicada.
