dc.description.abstractenglishThis research project allowed the characterization of rural entrepreneurship promoted by the Higher Education Institutions of the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area. The definitions and projections that have been promoted and validated in the AMB universities, the method and methodology that characterize the university models used to promote entrepreneurship in the rural sector, as well as the matrix analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of undergraduate work (basic, practical or applied) in entrepreneurship for the rural sector of the AMB. This research seminar was articulated to the inter-institutional goals through the director of the present degree project, as a member of Reune (University Network of Entrepreneurship) of Ascun, focusing its attention on the study of the degree works, which have promoted projects in rural entrepreneurship, trying to solve What are the conceptual, methodological and results characteristics associated with the experiences in rural entrepreneurship of some of the Institutions of Higher Education of the Metropolitan Area of Bucaramanga? The research seminar on rural entrepreneurship has been a process of reflection, where the team members managed to identify relevant components in the transformation of agriculture through innovative processes, products and / or services, highlighting the drive, talent, research and the empirical knowledge of all those rural entrepreneurs who, over the difficulties, have managed to position themselves in a market.
