dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se orientó en fortalecer la red de apoyo para los usuarios de la Unidad de Oncología y Radioterapia de la E.S.E H.U. S, con el propósito de mejorar el proceso de recuperación, la adherencia al tratamiento y la experiencia del paciente oncológico. Sustentada desde un enfoque cualitativo para comprender la realidad social en su contexto, centrándose en captar las experiencias y significados subjetivos de las personas. A la hora de abordar las redes de apoyo de los pacientes con cáncer, se realizó un diagnóstico social y se propone desarrollarlo desde una metodología fenomenológica hermenéutica, la cual concibe que el ser humano y el mundo en el que este está inmerso es sociohistórico, debido a que toda conciencia humana es sociocultural e histórica y es expresada a partir del lenguaje (Solano, 2006). Los principales hallazgos, dan cuenta que las redes de apoyo son consideradas importantes para que el proceso de los usuarios de la unidad tenga mejor efectividad y eficacia, debido a que no solo brindar apoyo económico sino también emocional. Se deben nutrir las Redes de Apoyo de los Usuarios de la Unidad de Oncología y Radioterapia de la E.S.E H.U. S debido a que los pacientes expresan que estas son un factor positivo en indispensable en su proceso de recuperación. Finalmente, la consolidación de la Escuela de Usuarios y Cuidadores de la Unidad de Oncología es necesaria debido a que permitirá espacios de educación y pedagogía, los cuales nutrirán a su vez las redes de apoyo de los Usuarios Oncológicos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research was oriented to strengthen the support network for the users of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Unit of the E.S.E H.U. S, with the purpose of improving the recovery process, the adherence to treatment and the experience of the oncology patient. Substantiated from a qualitative approach to understand the social reality in its context, focusing on capturing the subjective experiences and meanings of people. When approaching the support networks of cancer patients, a social diagnosis was made and it was proposed to develop it from a hermeneutic phenomenological methodology, which conceives that the human being and the world in which he is immersed is sociohistorical, because all human consciousness is sociocultural and historical and is expressed through language (Solano, 2006). The main findings show that support networks are considered important for the process of the users of the unit to be more effective and efficient, since they not only provide economic support but also emotional support. The support networks of the users of the Oncology and Radiotherapy Unit of the E.S.E H.U.S. should be nurtured because the patients express that these are an indispensable positive factor in their recovery process. Finally, the consolidation of the School of Users and Caregivers of the Oncology Unit is necessary because it will allow spaces for education and pedagogy, which in turn will nurture the support networks of the Oncology Users.
