dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se analiza el desarrollo del proceso de generalización de estudiantes de básica primaria entre 9 y 12 años, a partir del estudio de situaciones sobre patrones en diferentes representaciones. Para esto se implementa una serie de actividades (Prueba diagnóstica, talleres y entrevista; con sus respectivos análisis a priori y a posteriori), donde se consideran las fases del proceso de generalización propuestas por el grupo de Azarquiel en 1993: Ver, Describir y Escribir. Los resultados muestran que después de un proceso de instrucción, los estudiantes logran identificar algunos patrones en secuencias numéricas y geométricas, ayudándose de estrategias que les permiten percibir de manera más clara el patrón; sin embargo, los estudiantes tienen grandes dificultades con el paso de una fase a otra, especialmente de Describir a Escribir; pues les resulta complejo llegar a una generalización ya sea de manera verbal o mediante una expresión general. Con esta investigación pretendemos que los resultados obtenidos a partir del trabajo hecho por los estudiantes durante la investigación, sirva de guía a los profesores para entender cómo afrontan los estudiantes este tipo de situaciones, y a su vez, estos resultados puedan propiciar en los profesores estrategias con las cuales puedan motivar en los estudiantes el razonamiento algebraico.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis essay parses the developing of elementary school students between nine (9) and twelve (12) years old students starting with the study of situations about patterns in distinct renderings. For this is implemented a set of activities (diagnostic tests, workshops and interviews; with their respective proposed by Azarquiel group in 1993: See, Describe and Write. The results evince that after an instruction process the students are able to identify some patterns in numerical and geometric sequences, helping of strategies that allow them to perceive clearly the pattern; however, students have difficulties with the transition from one phase to another, especially from Describe to Write, because they find complex get a generalization either verbally or by a general expression. Our target with this research results, from the work done by students during the investigation, be useful to guide teachers to understand how students face such situations, and at the same time, reasoning.
