dc.description.abstractLa enfermedad coronaria es un problema de salud pública, siendo la principal causa de muerte, representada en un 34% a nivel mundial y en Colombia causante del 30% de las muertes reportadas, después de las ocasionadas por violencia. OBJETIVO: Describir las características demográficas, de presentación clínica, tratamiento y los patrones de la primera caminada de pacientes con IAM incluidos en la cohorte de PAMP (20032007) en Bucaramanga. METODOLOGÍA: Estudio realizado en base al estudio fiPAMPfl, de cohorte retrospectivo que estudió los factores predictores de la primera caminada realizada por pacientes admitidos a hospitalización por IAM. Se revisaron 400 historias clínicas de pacientes con diagnóstico de IAM de manera aleatoria entre los años 2.003 y 2.007. RESULTADOS: En el presente análisis la edad no fue un factor influyente para caminar, con una media oscilante 63.5 Œ 64.3 años, el género marca una diferencia importante encontrándose que el 71.2% de las pacientes que caminaron fueron hombres. El 64,9% eran casados. El 93.6% de las personas de caminaron provenían de área urbana. El promedio de estancia hospitalaria es de 4 días. CONCLUSIONES: Son muchos los estudios sobre IAM, pero pocos los dedicados a la primera movilización del paciente pos infarto. Este estudio encuentra que el 56.3% del total de la muestra realizó su primera deambulación intrahospitalariamente; a pesar de esto, no es un evento relevante para el equipo médico.

OBJECTIVE: To describe the demographic characteristics, clinical presentation, treatment and the patterns of the first walk of patients with AMI included in the cohort of PAMP (2003-2007) in Bucaramanga. METHODOLOGY: Study conducted on the basis of the study "PAMP", a retrospective cohort who studied the factors that predict the first walked by patients admitted for hospitalization (IAM). We reviewed medical records of 400 patients with AMI at random between the years 2003 and 2007. RESULTS: In this analysis, age was not a factor for walking with a swinging half 63.5 - 64.3 years, gender makes a significant difference was found that 71.2% of the patients were men who walked, 64.9% were married. The 93.6% of people walked from the urban area. The average hospital stay is 4 days. CONCLUSIONS: Many studies on AMI, but few are dedicated to the first mobilization the patient's first post-infarction.. This study found that 56.3% of the total sample conducted its first intrawandering, although this is not an important event for the team doctor.
