dc.description.abstractEl movimiento antipsiquiátrico surge como un rechazo a la psiquiatría clásica es decir aquellas prácticas psiquiátricas que vulneran los derechos humanos de los trastornados mentales su principales exponentes son David Cooper, Ronald Laing Vásquez Roca, cada uno de ellos planteo diferentes postulados anti psiquiátricos rachando la psiquiatría tradicional, aunque existen instrumentos internacionales en defensa de los derechos de los trastornados mentales, aun hay centros psiquiátricos donde no se da un respeto por la dignidad humana de sus pacientes, en el caso de las personas que bajo una perturbación psíquica han cometido un delito y adquieren la calidad de inimputables, el estado ha establecido que mediante la medida de seguridad que consiste en internamiento en un centro psiquiátrico deben recibir el adecuado tratamiento y trato digno. En hospitales psiquiátricos como san Camilo aun se aplican tratamientos como la terapia electro convulsiva que aparte de generar terror y un grave trauma a los pacientes, también causa un dolor muy fuerte, y otras prácticas como la inmovilización de pacientes a las sillas o camas, generan de todas formas un trato reprochable desde el punto de vista de los derechos fundamentales, pero también se han dado avances como la sensibilización hacia los pacientes inimputables, buscando un acercamiento mediante la psicología y terapia ocupacional para poder tratar el trastorno mental. A través del presente trabajo buscamos que los las personas inimputables por enfermedad mental reciban un mejor trato y se elimine del todo la aplicación de la psiquiatría clásica por considerarla nociva para la vida de los pacientes.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe antipsychiatry movement arose as a rejection of classical psychiatric practices that violate human rights of mentally disturbed people. Its leading exponents are David Cooper, Ronald Laing, and Vasquez Rock. Each one of them poses different claims against traditional psychiatry. Although there are international instruments to defend the rights of the mentally disturbed, there are still mental hospitals where there is no respect for human dignity of their patients. In the case of persons under a mental disturbance who have committed a crime and acquired the quality of not criminally responsible, the state has established that under tight security these people are placed in a psychiatric facility that must provide proper and dignified treatment. In psychiatric hospitals like St. Camilo, treatments such as electroconvulsive therapy is still applied which apart from generating terror and severe trauma in patients, it also causes severe pain; other practices such as immobilization of patients to chairs or beds also generates reprehension from the point of view of fundamental rights. However, some progress has been made as awareness of non-criminally responsible patients, seeking a rapport through psychological and occupational therapy to treat mental disorders. Through this work we seek to achieve that people not criminally responsible due to mental illness receive better treatment and also to eliminate altogether the application of classical psychiatry considered harmful to the lives of patients.
