dc.description.abstractLos estudios alrededor de la obra del poeta colombiano Horacio Benavides son escasos. De hecho, al momento de realizar la presente investigación, solo hay dos estudios sobre el autor: El pastor de la aldea: Ciclos poéticos en Horacio Benavides (2018) y El bramido del monstruo. Cuerpos extraños de la memoria en la poesía colombiana contemporánea (2020). Si bien se reconoce el conflicto armado como tema principal, en poemarios como Conversación a oscuras, se suele ignorar la estética y los demás elementos que caracterizan las obras de este poeta. En este sentido, mediante una revisión estilística de El libro de las vocales olvidadas, desde los planteamientos teóricos de Leo Spitzer, el presente trabajo pretende indagar si la obra, a través de una estética fantasmagórica, contiene una narración en torno al posconflicto. Al final, se reafirma la existencia de una estética fantasmagórica, tanto en El libro de las vocales olvidadas, como en poemarios anteriores del poeta colombiano. Sin embargo, también se determina que, aunque sí hay rastros, estos no son evidencia suficiente para hablar de una narración desde el posconflicto dentro de la obra; en cambio, surge la posibilidad de la existencia de un microcosmos entre dos de las últimas obras de Horacio Benavides.
dc.description.abstractenglishStudies around the work of the Colombian poet Horacio Benavides are scarce. In fact, at the time of conducting this research, there are only two studies on the author: El pastor de la aldea: Ciclos poéticos en Horacio Benavides (2018) and El bramido del monstruo. Cuerpos extraños de la memoria en la poesía colombiana contemporánea (2020). Although the armed conflict is recognized as the main theme, in collections of poems such as Conversación a oscuras, aesthetics and other elements that characterize the works of this poet are usually ignored. In this sense, through a stylistic review of El libro de las vocales olvidadas, from Leo Spitzer's theoretical approaches, this paper aims to investigate whether the work, through a phantasmagorical aesthetic, contains a narrative about the post-conflict. At the end, the existence of a phantasmagoric aesthetic is reaffirmed, both in El libro de las vocales olvidadas, and in previous books of poems by the Colombian poet. However, it is also determined that, although there are traces, these are not sufficient evidence to speak of a narration from the post-conflict period within his work; Instead, the possibility of the existence of a microcosm between two of Horacio Benavides' latest works arises.
