dc.description.abstractEl interés por la reducción de los espacios habitables en la casa surge inicialmente de un proceso de observación somero sobre el asunto en Bucaramanga. De esta mirada escrutadora al entorno próximo, se concluye que en relación con su pasado cercano la vivienda ha ido reduciendo y perdiendo espacios, algo fácilmente constatable si se nota la ausencia del patio o del jardín, y la reducción de cada una de las estancias en el interior de los proyectos de vivienda actuales. Este primer acercamiento al problema de la reducción espacial de la vivienda impelió una indagación más profunda sobre el mismo, de manera que el proyecto, aunque parte de consideraciones locales, aborda la problemática con un tono que tiende más hacia lo general y objetivo, con la intención de dilucidar las posibles causas del asunto. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, el proyecto discurre, primeramente, por una suerte de consideraciones reflexivas sobre la casa y su esencia, hasta desembocar en un sucinto recuento de sucesos históricos que definieron las características físicas de la casa tal cual como la conocemos. Finalmente estás consideraciones entran a hacer parte de una relación interespecífica con tendencia amensalista entre concepto y forma, lo cual deriva en la producción de un conjunto de piezas artísticas con cualidades minimalistas en las cuales se conjuga la instalación y el ensamble, todo lo cual está dispuesto con la intención de evocar la reducción de espacio al interior de la casa.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe interest in reducing the habitable spaces in the house arises from a cursory observation process on the matter in Bucaramanga. From this scrutinizing look at the next environment, it is concluded that in relation to its close past, the house has been reducing and losing spaces, something that can easily be seen if the absence of the patio or garden is noted, and the reduction of each of the rooms in the interior of current housing projects. This first approach to the problem of the spatial reduction of housing prompted a deeper inquiry into it, so that the project, although starting from local considerations, addresses the problem with a tone that tends more towards the general and objective, with the intention to elucidate the possible causes of the matter. Taking into account the above, the project runs, firstly, through a kind of reflective considerations about the house and its essence, until it ends in a succinct account of historical events that defined the physical characteristics of the house as we know them. Finally, these considerations become part of an interspecific relationship with a mensalistic tendency between concept and form, which results in the production of a set of artistic pieces with minimalist qualities in which installation and assembly are combined, all of which is arranged with the intention of evoking the reduction of space inside the house.
