| dc.description.abstract | La presente tesis es el resultado de un proceso riguroso de investigación y en él se plasman los resultados de un estudio etnográfico el cual pretendió comprender la realidad de la educación musical en tres instituciones, utilizando el paradigma cualitativo, analizando aspectos como las concepciones sobre música y educación musical que tienen directivos, docentes y estudiantes, así como las prácticas pedagógicas que desarrollan los docentes en el aula y las actitudes de los estudiantes ante la asignatura. Del mismo modo, este estudio pretende crear un espacio de reflexión entre la comunidad educativa sobre la importancia de la educación musical en las instituciones, analizando aspectos como el porqué y para qué de la asignatura en el currículo. De igual forma, este trabajo investigativo es una primera aproximación a la problemática que enfrenta esta área, puesto que son pocos los estudios que se han realizado en el ámbito local y nacional para tratar de comprender el estado en que se encuentra la educación en las artes y en especial la música. Un aspecto importante que se evidencia en las instituciones educativas con respecto a los maestros de ésta área, es al parecer su falta de preparación profesional; hay quienes ejercen prácticas educativas sin tener una formación pedagógica - musical o poseen formación en otras áreas totalmente diferentes a la pedagogía, lo que indudablemente lleva a que los docentes desarrollen prácticas pedagógicas que no corresponden con el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la educación musical. Por ello los maestros necesitan formación permanente para conocer nuevos conceptos y técnicas y así desarrollar nuevas habilidades didácticas en beneficio de sus estudiantes. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present thesis is the result of a rigorous process of investigation and in it are given the expressions of the results of a ethnographical to pretended to comprehend the reality of musical education in three institutions, using the qualitative paradigm, analyzing aspects like conceptions about music and musical education, as well as the pedagogical practices that teachers develop in the classroom and the students attitudes faced with the subject. In the same way the research pretends to create a reflection space among the school community about the importance of musical education in the institutions, analyzing aspects like the why and the for what of the subject in the curriculum. In the same way this investigative work is a first approximation to the problematic that this area faces up to, because are few the researches that have been made in the local and national ambit for try to comprehend the state in which the education in the arts and specially the music is found. An important aspect that is evidenced in the educational institutions with regard to the teachers of this area, is apparently its lack of professional preparation; there is who exercise practical educational without having a pedagogic formation - musical or they possess formation in other areas completely different to the pedagogy, that that undoubtedly takes to that the educational ones develop practical pedagogic that don't correspond with the teaching process and learning of the musical education. For it the teachers need permanent formation to know new concepts and technical and this way to develop new didactic abilities in their students' benefit. | |
