| dc.description.abstract | Con la realización de este proyecto de grado se buscó diseñar y construir un sistema móvil para la extracción de aceites esenciales por los métodos de hidrodestilación y agua vapor con capacidad para procesar 50 kg de material vegetal, que funcionará en la zona alta de los municipios del Peñón y Bolívar en el departamento de Santander, con el propósito de que la Asociación de Campesinos MORELIA obtenga los aceites esenciales para el inicio del desarrollo de esta agroindustria como alternativa económica para las comunidades de la región y su extensión a otras, en diversas regiones del país. Con la adecuada capacitación y asesoría técnica por parte del Centro Nacional de Investigaciones para la Agroindustrialización de Especies Vegetales Aromáticas y Medicinales Tropicales (CENIVAM) en labores técnicas de cultivo y extracción de aceites esenciales y con el posterior uso de este sistema móvil. Inicialmente se estableció la capacidad del destilador, la cual se definió aproximadamente en 50 kg, luego se determinó la cantidad de calor a suministrar en el proceso; después, evaluando la disponibilidad de combustible en esta zona, se escogió el gas natural como combustible a emplear; teniendo esto se procedió a seleccionar el quemador de combustible y a diseñar el soporte del quemador. Posteriormente se hizo el diseño del alambique con su respectivo cuello de cisne, teniendo en cuenta condiciones de capacidad, temperatura, materiales, presión, etc. Se realizaron los correspondientes cálculos térmicos para diseñar la unidad de condensación compacta con su sistema de refrigeración por aire. Se continuó con el diseño del recipiente separador o vaso florentino, para la separación de la solución agua-aceite. Una vez conocidas las dimensiones y características de los diferentes elementos, se diseñó la estructura móvil en donde se haría el montaje de los elementos para conformar el sistema móvil el cual además poseería características de remolque obteniéndose así finalmente un equipo funcional, seguro y relativamente económico. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | With the accomplishment of this project of degree we looked for to design and to construct to a movable system for the extraction of essential oils by the hydrodestilation methods and water steam with capacity to process 50 kg of vegetal material that it will work in the high zone of the municipalities of Peñon and Bolivar in the department of Santander, in order that the Association of Farmers MORELIA obtains essential oils for the beginning of the development of this agroindustry like economic alternative for the communities of the region and their extension to others, in diverse regions of the country. With the suitable qualification and technical consultant's office of the National Research Center for Agroindustrialization of Tropical Aromatic and Medicinal Species (CENIVAM) in technical workings of culture and essential oil extraction and with the later use of this movable system. Initially the capacity of the distiller, which defined itself approximately in 50 kg, soon the amount of heat was determined to provide in the process; later, evaluating the fuel availability in this zone, the natural gas like fuel was chosen to use; having this it was come to select the fuel burner and to design the support of the burner. Later the alembic design was made with its respective neck of swan, considering conditions of capacity, temperature, materials, pressure, etc. The corresponding thermal calculations were made to design the unit of compact condensation with their system of air cooling. It was continued with the design of the separating container or florentino glass, for the separation of the solution water-oil. Once known the dimensions and characteristics the different elements, the movable structure was designed in where the assembly would be made of the elements to conform the movable system which in addition would have two characteristics thus obtaining itself finally a functional equipment, safe, and relatively economic. | |
