dc.description.abstractenglish | Through the pedagogical practice it is recorded that at early ages students have a greater interest and skill in mathematical analysis, representing a daily challenge for teachers who must innovate their academic activities on a daily basis, providing new options in the appropriation of concepts inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, the teaching and learning methods of mathematics require a continuous updating of the methodology that promotes the student's academic performance. Through the pedagogical practice developed with students between 6 and 7 years of age, the need to integrate algebraic thinking within their mathematical formation is evident, giving way to the research question: How to promote the development of algebraic thinking in students of primary school when participating as members of a Mathematical Community? It is expected that this project opens new possibilities in the regular classroom thanks to the construction of a Mathematical Community (formed by students and the teacher), which guides the knowledge processes of the students. Establishing spaces that motivate you to interact with your knowledge through the use of concrete material. For this, this research is taken up in which the child constructs his own knowledge through his experience in the conformation and development of a Mathematical Community. Seeking to implement and integrate the development of Early Algebra from the analysis of figural and numerical sequences represented in concrete material. The methodology of this research focuses on identifying and demonstrating the phases proposed by Mason, in the analysis of mathematical sequences through the use of patterns. As part of the results it is evident that the students of early ages manage to generalize patterns, establishing their own characteristics.
