dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal incentivar la lectura de la literatura clásica en estudiantes de undécimo grado a través de la lectura de mitos griegos de la era heroica, centrándose en los héroes Teseo, Jasón y Heracles. Para lograrlo, se plantearon dos objetivos: rastrear el abordaje de la literatura clásica en la Institución Educativa Dámaso Zapata de Bucaramanga y diseñar una secuencia didáctica para promover la lectura de la literatura clásica a través de la mitología griega. Se implementó una metodología mixta y se aplicó un cuestionario con preguntas cerradas y abiertas para evaluar el impacto de la lectura de mitos griegos en la motivación de los estudiantes hacia la literatura clásica. Para examinar en profundidad las respuestas obtenidas se utilizó el análisis de contenido para identificar patrones y tendencias. La secuencia didáctica diseñada se enfocó en cumplir con los criterios del Ministerio de Educación Nacional y emplear enfoques pedagógicos activos y reflexivos, para fomentar la participación, el diálogo y el uso de recursos visuales. En conclusión, la lectura de mitos griegos en el contexto educativo puede despertar el interés por la literatura clásica, enriqueciendo la comprensión de los estudiantes y promoviendo su desarrollo intelectual.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe main objective of this research is to encourage the reading of classical literature in eleventh grade students through the reading of Greek myths of the heroic era, focusing on the heroes Theseus, Jason and Herakles. To achieve this, two objectives were set: to trace the approach to classical literature in the Dámaso Zapata Educational Institution of Bucaramanga and to design a didactic sequence to promote the reading of classical literature through Greek mythology. A mixed methodology was implemented and a questionnaire with closed and open questions was applied to evaluate the impact of reading Greek myths on students' motivation towards classical literature. To examine in depth the responses obtained, content analysis was used to identify patterns and trends. The didactic sequence designed focused on meeting the criteria of the Ministry of National Education and employing active and reflective pedagogical approaches to encourage participation, dialogue and the use of visual resources. In conclusion, reading Greek myths in the educational context can awaken interest in classical literature, enriching students' understanding and promoting their intellectual development.
