dc.description.abstractLa presente monografía tiene como fin el desarrollo de una metodología de clasificación y optimización de los inventarios de mantenimiento, reparación y operaciones, por tal motivo se diseña una matriz de criticidad que permite clasificar los diversos materiales según el riesgo de su ausencia y su costo de adquisición para posteriormente aplicar el tratamiento estadístico respectivo a la criticidad obtenida el cual arroja como resultados la demanda del componente, el punto de reorden, la cantidad económica de pedido, la frecuencia de reorden, stock de seguridad todo lo anterior asegurando el costo total mínimo de cada material analizado. El propósito principal del desarrollo de la metodología de optimización de inventarios de mantenimiento, reparación y operaciones es la disminución de los costos operativos de la compañía, el nivel correcto de stock y su punto de reorden adecuado resultan en costos de almacén y tiempos administrativos de gestión significativamente menores. Con el fin de comprobar la efectividad de la metodología diseñada se realiza un piloto de implementación aplicando los resultados obtenidos a un almacén típico de inventarios de mantenimiento, reparación y operaciones y se obtiene una disminución significativa en los costos de almacenamiento, compra y tenencia de los elementos junto a la obtención del número de unidades que minimizan el riesgo por ausencia de estas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe purpose of this monograph is to develop a methodology for classifying and optimizing maintenance, repair and operations inventories. For this reason, a criticality matrix is designed to classify the various materials according to the risk of their absence and their acquisition cost, in order to subsequently apply the respective statistical treatment to the criticality obtained, which yields the component demand, reorder point, economic order quantity, reorder frequency, and safety stock, all of the above, ensuring the minimum total cost of each material analyzed. The main purpose of developing the methodology for optimizing maintenance, repair and operations inventories is to reduce the company's operating costs. The correct level of stock and its appropriate reorder point result in significantly lower warehouse costs and administrative management times. In order to verify the effectiveness of the designed methodology, a pilot implementation is carried out by applying the results obtained to a typical maintenance, repair and operations inventory warehouse and a significant decrease is obtained in the costs of storage, purchase and possession of the elements together with obtaining the number of units that minimize the risk due to their absence.
