dc.description.abstractEsta investigación tuvo como punto de partida la pregunta ¿cómo son las identidades discursivas y las prácticas de lectura de personas que ingresan a la educación superior en la Universidad Industrial de Santander? La exploración se ubicó en la perspectiva teórica y metodológica de la semiótica discursiva que propone a) la identidad como una construcción discursiva con efecto de permanencia que se presenta como resultado de un proceso enunciativo, y b) la lectura como un proceso complejo y multidimensional de construcción de sentido, cuya práctica es actualizada por el sujeto como una manera de hacer estructurada. El problema de investigación permitió formular los siguientes objetivos: identificar identidades discursivas y prácticas de lectura de personas que ingresan a la educación superior en la UIS, caracterizar modelos de representación de las identidades discursivas y las prácticas de lectura identificadas, y comparar estos modelos. Para cumplir con los propósitos mencionados, se realizó un análisis estructurado en cuatro capítulos: “Sobre la Hoja de vida del lector y la perspectiva metodológica”, en este se presentó la estructura del instrumento de investigación y su pertinencia para el proceder analítico, y se explicitó la metodología empleada en el proceso investigativo. Posteriormente, en “Identidades discursivas del lector” se caracterizaron cuatro modelos de identidades discursivas, en los cuales se evidenciaron la axiología y las pasiones que conforman el sistema de valores sobre la lectura del sujeto. En “Prácticas de lectura” se presentaron los modelos de prácticas de lectura que cada identidad discursiva ha configurado. Finalmente, en “Conclusiones” se expusieron los valores comunes y diferenciadores de los lectores y los entornos socioculturales en los que están inmersos, y se evidenció la incidencia de las experiencias colegiales y familiares en la configuración de la identidad como lector y la práctica que ejecuta.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research had as its starting point the question how are the discursive identities and reading practices of people entering higher education at the Industrial University of Santander? The exploration was located in the theoretical and methodological perspective of discursive semiotics that proposes a) identity as a discursive construction with a permanence effect that is presented as a result of an enunciative process, and b) Reading as a complex and multidimensional process of meaning construction, whose practice is updated by the subject as a structured way of doing. The research problem made it possible to formulate the following objectives: identify discursive identities and reading practices of people entering higher education at UIS, characterize models of representation of discursive identities and reading practices identified, and compare these models. To fulfill the aforementioned purposes, an analysis structured in four chapters was carried out: "On the reader's resume and the methodological perspective", in which the structure of the research instrument and its relevance for the analytical procedure were presented, and the methodology used in the research process was explained. Subsequently, in "Discursive identities of the reader" four models of discursive identities were characterized, in which the axiology and passions that make up the value system on the reading of the subject were evidenced. In "Reading practices" the models of reading practices that each discursive identity has configured were presented. Finally, in "Conclusions" the common and differentiating values of the readers and the sociocultural environments in which they are immersed were exposed, and the incidence of collegial and family experiences in the configuration of identity as a reader and the practice he executes was evidenced.
