Modernizacion de automatismos secuenciales relacionados con el tratamiento de ceniza en termopaipa

dc.description.abstractSe desarrollaron simultáneamente dos proyectos en la Empresa de Energía de Boyacá (Termopaipa), en el primero se necesitaba independizar el control de la secuencia de golpe de los electrodos colectores en los precipitadores electrostáticos de las unidades II y III utilizando dos PLCs, ya que el control se encontraba implementado en un solo PLC, y en caso de fallo las dos unidades salían de funcionamiento, adicionalmente no existía documentación del correspondiente circuito de control. En el segundo proyecto se necesitaba implementar un nuevo circuito de control en lógica programada para gobernar el funcionamiento del descargador rotativo de ceniza, con el fin de reemplazar el control implementado en lógica cableada, aprovechando uno de los PLCs utilizados para los precipitadores. Revisando el funcionamiento de los sistemas encomendados y la guía de modos de marcha y parada GEMMA, se aprovechó el reemplazo de los controladores, para diseñar circuitos de control más robustos, los cuales incluyen funciones adicionales como parada de emergencia, modos de ajuste, modos de producción bajo fallos y alarmas. Estos circuitos de control se programaron usando metodología Grafcet, la cual facilita la depuración de programas y fue creada especialmente para automatismos secuénciales. Adicionalmente se diseñaron nuevos tableros de control correspondientes a las nuevas funcionalidades, y paneles de señalización para determinar el estado de los procesos en tiempo real. Finalmente se documentó todo el diseño con planos y manuales necesarios para el montaje y puesta en marcha del mismo. Se culminó satisfactoriamente el diseño de los automatismos y con base en lo anterior la empresa ha adquirido los equipos seleccionados por los autores de esta practica, y en este momento ha iniciado el montaje de los proyectos diseñados. Como aporte a la universidad, adicional al informe de la práctica, se desarrollo una guía para el desarrollo de proyectos de este tipo.
dc.description.abstractenglishTwo projects were developed simultaneously in the Energy Company of Boyacá (TermoPaipa), in the first, it was needed the control of the hit sequence of the collector electrodes in the precipitant electrostatic units II and III to be independent using two PLCs, since the control was done using just one PLC, and supposing trouble-shooting, both units stopped working; in addition there was not documentation of the corresponding control circuit. In the second project it was needed to make new control circuit in programmed logic to direct the performance of the ash rotative unloader, in order to replace the control done with wired logic, taking advantage of one of the PLCs used by the precipiting units. Revising the working of the recommended systems and the guide of the going on and stopping modes GEMMA, it was used the replacing of the controllers to design more robust control circuits, which include additional functions such as Emergency stop, adjust modes, production modes under trouble-shooting and alarms. These control circuits were programmed using Grafcet methodology, which makes easier to debug programs and was specially created for sequence automatism. In addition, new control boards corresponding to the new functions were designed, and also signal panels to determine the processes state in real time. Finally it was documented all the design with the necessary planes and handbooks for the assembly and turning on of it. The design of the automatisms was finished satisfactorily and based on the previous, the company has acquired the selected equipments by the authors of this practice, and in this moment it has begun the assembly of the designed projects.
