dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad existe una cierta tendencia en las artes visuales a realizar proyectos que se nutren de la participación y los intercambios que éstas producen, en las cuales el artista no es propiamente un productor de objetos, sino un facilitador de espacios de diálogo y encuentro. De esta manera el arte no sólo busca acercarse al público, sino proponer nuevos modelos de reunión diferentes a los que ofrece la sociedad de consumo, y la institucionalidad en general. Con el ánimo de insertarse dentro de esta dinámica, Altar al desamor se presenta como una propuesta de arte público y comunitario que se desarrolla en un colegio de la ciudad. El trabajo plantea la elaboración de un altar al desamor como un dispositivo participativo, que congregue experiencias desafortunadas en el amor. Así pues, se inicia con un taller dirigido a adolescentes como forma de trabajo, en el cual los participantes recurren a sus experiencias personales en el amor para intervenir un objeto con un significado especial, con el propósito de expresar a través de éste, el dolor producido tras una ruptura afectiva. El taller, además de concebirse como una estrategia de cooperación orientada hacia la elaboración de un altar al desamor, se convierte en un espacio de catarsis, en el cual quien participa encuentra una oportunidad para manifestar aquellos sentimientos negativos vinculados con una decepción sentimental. Por último, se ejecuta el altar al desamor en las instalaciones del colegio, así como en dos barrios de Bucaramanga y su área Metropolitana.
dc.description.abstractenglishNowadays there is a tendency in the visual arts to create projects that feed on the participation and the exchanges that they produce, in which the artist is not really a producer of objects, but a facilitator of dialogue and meeting spaces. Thus art does not only seek to approach the public, but to propose new meeting models different from those offered by the consumer society, and institutions in general. Aiming at getting into this dynamic, the Lost Love Shrine is presented as a public and a community art proposal that is developed in a school in the city. The paper discusses the development of a Lost Love shrine that brings together unlucky love experiences. So, it begins with a workshop, aimed at teens, in which participants share their own personal experiences of love with an object of special meaning, in order to ultimately express their pain, suffered by an emotional breakdown. The workshop, besides being conceived as a cooperation strategy oriented towards the development of a Lost Love Shrine, it becomes a place of catharsis, in which those who participate find an opportunity to express those negative feelings associated with a disappointment in love. Finally, The Lost Love Shrine is executed in a school and in two districts of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area.
