dc.description.abstractDescripción: El terminal pesquero de Centroabastos ubicado en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, es una despensa importante del pescado que se comercializa en Santander, ya que abastece a gran parte del departamento de productos frescos y congelados de alta calidad y demanda. La presente investigación propende por realizar un diagnóstico comercial del terminal pesquero de Centroabastos, teniendo en cuenta que el comportamiento económico del sector, según algunos de sus participantes, ha tenido un decrecimiento importante en los últimos años. El diagnóstico se da por medio de la caracterización de los agentes participantes en la cadena de comercialización, partiendo desde los mayoristas del terminal pesquero, los vendedores minoristas, los restaurantes y el consumidor final; dicha caracterización se hace a través de cuatro cuestionarios adaptados a cada tipo de agente participante consultado. De igual forma se utilizan dos herramientas de análisis, tales como la matriz DOFA y la matriz PESTEL, las cuales por medio de consulta en fuentes secundarias, permitieron determinar aquellos factores que inciden en el sub-sector y la importancia del terminal pesquero para la economía en el departamento. Por último, se presentan las conclusiones del proyecto de investigación teniendo en cuenta las dos tipos de fuentes consultadas: primarias y secundarias, haciendo un análisis general de la información recolectada y presentando posibles propuestas para el crecimiento o fortalecimiento del sub-sector.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Centroabastos fishing terminal located in the city of Bucaramanga is an important pantry for the fish that is sold in Santander, since it supplies a large part of the department with fresh and frozen products of high quality and demand. This research aims to carry out a commercial diagnosis of the Centroabastos fishing terminal, considering that the economic behavior of the sector, according to some of its participants, has had a significant decrease in recent years. The diagnostic is given through the characterization of the agents in the trading chain, starting from the wholesalers of the fishing terminal, following the retailers, the restaurants, and the final consumer. This characterization is done through four questionnaires adapted to each type of participating agents consulted. The SWOT matrix and the PESTEL matrix were used for the analysis of the results, which, through consultation in secondary sources, allowed determining those factors that affect the sub-sector and the importance of the fishing terminal for the economy. in the department. Finally, the conclusions of the research project are presented considering the two types of consulted sources: primary and secondary, making a general analysis of the information collected and presenting possible proposals for the growth or strengthening of the sub-sector.
