dc.description.abstract	En diciembre de 2019, un brote en Wuhan, China, marcó el inicio de la pandemia de Covid-19, provocando un confinamiento global y un incremento en el uso de redes sociales para mantener conexiones emocionales. En este contexto, el meme de Cheems, un perro Shiba Inu llamado Balltze, ganó popularidad al expresar tristeza y frustración mediante su melancólica expresión y textos humorísticos mal escritos. Este meme se convirtió en un canal para que muchas personas compartieran sus ansiedades durante el aislamiento. La autora de este proyecto, una joven que vivió ansiedad y sentimientos de inseguridad en su adolescencia al inicio de la pandemia, se identificó con el meme de Cheems. Esto la llevó a explorar cómo representar tridimensionalmente la ansiedad a través de este ícono digital, cuestionando cómo se manifestarían visualmente los síntomas de ansiedad en el cuerpo de Cheems. El objetivo de este proyecto fue representar los síntomas de la ansiedad de manera tridimensional a través de esculturas de este personaje. Se profundizó en los distintos síntomas del trastorno y en sus manifestaciones en el contexto contemporáneo, estableciendo una conexión con el público a través de la influencia de este meme.
dc.description.abstractenglish	In December 2019, an outbreak in Wuhan, China, marked the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to a global lockdown and an increase in social media use to maintain emotional connections. In this context, the Cheems meme, featuring a Shiba Inu dog named Balltze, gained popularity for expressing sadness and frustration through its melancholic expression and poorly written humorous texts. This meme became a channel for many people to share their anxieties during isolation. The author of this project, a young woman who experienced anxiety and feelings of insecurity during her adolescence at the onset of the pandemic, identified with the Cheems meme. This led her to explore how to represent anxiety in three dimensions through this digital icon, questioning how the symptoms of anxiety would visually manifest in Cheems's body. The objective of this project was to represent the symptoms of anxiety in a three-dimensional form through sculptures of this character. The project delved into the various symptoms of the disorder and their manifestations in the contemporary context, establishing a connection with the audience through the influence of this meme.
