dc.description.abstractPara muchas personas utensilios básicos como un lapicero no significan más que eso, el objeto con el que escriben una carta o llenan un formulario; sin embargo, algunas mujeres llegan a integrarlo en sus juegos sexuales en solitario. Así como el lapicero, otros tantos objetos son resignificados en la medida que pierden su utilidad original y luego son usados como elementos que potencializan las sensaciones y el placer sexual femenino. En esa medida, esta propuesta plástica busca evidenciar el uso de objetos cotidianos en la masturbación femenina frente al tabú social vigente. 1 La propuesta expone las experiencias de tres mujeres y el objeto que para cada una de ellas es el predilecto durante el acto de la masturbación, mediante una exposición museográfica. Los objetos expuestos junto con unos audios en los que están recogidas las experiencias y vivencias íntimas de dichas mujeres permitirán al espectador interactuar con un dispositivo capaz de dar cuenta de lo placentero que puede llegar a ser la masturbación y del sesgo social que ha sufrido esta práctica en las sociedades patriarcales de Occidente. Así pues, la artista ha querido exaltar la autonomía que puede alcanzar una mujer al no necesitar obligatoriamente del órgano sexual masculino para conseguir el orgasmo mientras se libera así de los cánones y valores de esta sociedad eminentemente machista.
dc.description.abstractenglishFor several people, basic utensils such as a pen do not mean anything but that, the object that they write a letter or fill a form with; however, some women get to integrate it in their solitary sexual games. Just like the pen, many other objects are re-signified to the extent that they lose their original utility, and then are used as elements that augment sensations and feminine sexual pleasure. In this respect, this plastic proposal aims to evidence the usage of quotidian objects in female masturbation facing the current social taboo.3 The proposal exposes experiences from three women and their favorite objects during the act of masturbation, through a sculptural installation. The displayed objects along with some audios that gather the intimate experiences and occurrences of said women will allow the spectator to interact with a device able to shed some light on how pleasant masturbation can be, and on the social bias this practice has suffered from within Western patriarchic societies. Accordingly, the artist has wanted to exalt the autonomy that a woman can reach by not necessitating the male sexual organ obligatorily to reach orgasm, while liberating herself from the canons and values of this eminently sexist society.
