dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene por objetivo identificar las valoraciones con respecto a la Biblioteca Escolar en los discursos enunciados por los principales actores de la comunidad educativa del Colegio Luz de la Esperanza. Se analiza desde la semiótica del discurso los diferentes enunciados construidos por estos actores en calidad de informantes. Se propone una metodología de investigación con el paradigma cualitativo-interpretativo, dado que este presenta como propósito el análisis y la comprensión de las representaciones sociales del mundo empírico a partir de la observación del investigador. La fundamentación teórica se basa en abordar los conceptos generales de la semiótica, del discurso, el proceso de enunciación y las bibliotecas como espacios de prácticas culturales. Se destaca la importancia de evidenciar cómo se valora la biblioteca escolar por una comunidad educativa como preámbulo para el conocimiento de un objeto de estudio que según su concepción se encuentra para fortalecer y desarrollar los Proyectos Educativos Institucionales (PEI), la carta de navegación de todo centro educativo, como también formar seres íntegros para la sociedad. Finalmente, esta investigación se encuentra amparada por el grupo de investigación Cultura y Narración en Colombia, CUYNACO, de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, bajo la línea de investigación de Semiótica y prácticas culturales.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research aims to identify the assessments regarding the School Library in the speeches made by the main actors of the educational community of the Luz de la Esperanza School. The different statements constructed by these actors as informants are analyzed from the semiotics of discourse. A research methodology with the qualitative-interpretative paradigm is proposed, since this paradigm presents as its purpose the analysis and understanding of the social representations of the empirical world from the researcher's observation. The theoretical foundation is based on addressing the general concepts of semiotics, discourse, the enunciation process and the libraries as spaces for cultural practices. The importance of showing how the school library is valued by an educational community is highlighted as a preamble to the knowledge of an object of study that according to its conception is to strengthen and develop Institutional Educational Projects (PEI), the navigation chart of all school, as well as making upright citizens for society. Finally, this research is supported by the research group Culture and Narration in Colombia, CUYNACO, of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, under the research line of Semiotics and cultural practices.
