dc.description.abstractEste trabajo es una propuesta metodológica para la construcción de las distintas representaciones de las fracciones utilizando material didáctico como las regletas de Cuisenaire. En él se proponen cuatro actividades basadas en las distintas representaciones de la fracción como lo son: parte-todo, razón, cociente y operador. Para el diseño de las actividades fueron útiles las etapas de aprendizaje de Van Hiele, en ellas se agotaron la curiosidad y la posibilidad de juego de los estudiantes a través de la exploración y manipulación del material, estimulando su imaginación y creación, propiciando la elaboración de los conceptos y el enriquecimiento del vocabulario. De igual forma, se pretende facilitar el proceso de enseñanza del maestro a través de material concreto, de tal manera que resultara más agradable y didáctica la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de este contenido, logrando así: aprovechar el potencial existente en los estudiantes, fortalecer el análisis con nuevas actividades y recursos, y aumentar el gusto por las matemáticas, en éste caso el gusto por el trabajo con las fracciones, que durante muchos años escolares, el estudiante encuentra en sus diversas representaciones y aplicaciones de la vida real. Asimismo, se logra el desarrollo de competencias ciudadanas como el respeto, la tolerancia, la pluralidad de aprendizajes y la colaboración entre los estudiantes. De esta manera el objetivo primordial de esta investigación es la elaboración de una estrategia didáctica que busca el mejoramiento de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las fracciones y sus representaciones en estudiantes de grado 7º a través de las regletas de Cuisenaire.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work is a methodological proposal for the construction of different representation of fractions, through the use of didactic materials such us the Cuisenaire Rods. Also, on this work are proposed four activities based on the different representations of fractions as follows: Part-whole, Reason, Quotient and operator. Or the designing of the activities, they were useful the fiLearning stages of Van Hielefl. Moreover, on each one of those activities they were used up the curiosity and game posibilities of students, through the exploration and handling material, estimulating students´ imagination and creation and propitiating the elaboration of concepts and vocabulary enrichment. Similary, it is intented to facilitate the teaching process through the use of concrete material, so that the teaching and learning of this content will be more didactic and enjoyable, in order to take advantage of the students´ potential, encouraging the analisys with new activities and resources, and increasing the pleasure for maths and, in this specific case, the love for the work with fractions, which during the scholar years, the students use to find out in their several representations, many applications to real life. Also, the development of civic competences such us the respect, tolerance learning diversity and mutual collaboration. In this way, the main goal of this investigation is the creation of a didactic strategy, looking for the improvement of the teaching and learning process of fractions and the their representations, for students of seventh (7th) course, through the Cuisenaire Rods
